Using Variables in Templates

Variables in ThreadWave Templates allow you to dynamically insert context-specific information into your templates. Here's a brief explanation of commonly used variables:

  • $assignee: Indicates the current assignee's name.

  • $reporter: Indicates the current reporter's name.

  • $issuekey: Indicates the unique identifier (key) of the current issue.

  • $now: Represents the current date and time.

These variables will automatically be replaced with the relevant data when the template is applied, saving you time and ensuring accuracy in your comments.
