Adding New Comments
Parent comments can be added the same way as in the native Jira comments
Go to the Jira Issue View screen
Click the ‘ThreadWave Comments’ ‘ThreadWave Comments’ tab in the ‘Activity’ ‘Activity’ section
Enter any content you wish inside the editor and click the ‘Save’ ‘Save’ button.

Comments Editing and Deleting
The ability to edit and delete your ThreadWave Comments is governed by Jira's general comment permissions settings, which apply to both Native Comments and ThreadWave Comments.
Users can edit and delete their comments using the edit and delete icons, subject to their permissions.

Convert Comment as Reply
Easily convert existing comments into reply comments to maintain context and streamline discussions. This feature allows you to reorganize comments by associating them with a specific parent comment, ensuring clarity and structure in your conversations.

Go to the Jira Issue View screen
Click the ‘ThreadWave Comments’ tab in the ‘Activity’ section
Click the ‘Get ID’ link button under the comment you want to reply to, and the parent ID will be copied.
Click the ‘Convert as Reply’ link button on the comment you want to convert, paste the copied ID into the text area, and then click the ‘Save’ button.
